| Reverse description | Irregular copper flan with a crudely hammered Persian/Nastaliq script legend occupying the central field, bearing the name and title of the ruler Jayaji Rao Sindhia. The inscription is rendered in bold strokes with characteristic cursive forms, set against a plain, unornamented field. The flan edges are irregular and slightly polygonal, consistent with hand-hammered coinage practices of the Gwalior princely state mint during the reign of Jayaji Rao Sindhia. |
