The inscription is rendered in bold strokes with characteristic cursive forms, set against a plain, unornamented field. The flan edges are irregular and slightly polygonal, consistent with hand-hammered coinage practices of the Gwalior princely state mint during the reign of Jayaji Rao Sindhia. |
