| Obverse description | Central field displays a stylized Devanagari legend within a rectangular frame with decorative border elements, characteristic of the Gwalior princely state hammered coinage. The inscription, rendered in a bold archaic hand, occupies the majority of the flan. A horizontal dividing line separates the main legend from a secondary inscription in the lower register. The overall die workmanship reflects the provincial hammered tradition of the Burhanpur mint under Jankoji Rao Scindia. |
