| Obverse description | Hammered copper flan bearing bold Arabic legend arranged in two registers separated by a horizontal line across the field. The upper register contains the royal titles and name of Islam Shah Suri, son of Sher Shah Suri, struck in a robust Naskh-style script. A star mint mark is present in the field, serving as the identifying symbol of the Shahgarh mint. The irregular flan edge is characteristic of hammered coinage of the Sur Empire period, with the legend partially visible toward the periphery. |

| Reverse description | Hammered copper reverse displaying Arabic legend in two registers separated by a horizontal line, consistent with the standard typology of Sur Empire copper coinage. The inscription in Naskh-style script records the mint name Shahgarh and additional regnal or denominational information. The irregular flan and uneven strike are typical of mid-sixteenth century Indian hammered copper issues, with areas of flat strike visible toward the coin's periphery. |
