Obverse description Hammered copper flan bearing Arabic-script legends arranged in two registers separated by a horizontal line. The upper register contains a regnal year numeral in Eastern Arabic numerals, while the lower register displays the royal epithet or denomination inscription in bold, somewhat crude calligraphic strokes characteristic of hill-state coinage. Small pellets flank the inscription in the lower field, and the entire design is contained within a plain circular border typical of Kumaon Chand Raja issues.
