| Obverse description | Central field bears a two-line Persian inscription enclosed within a dotted circular border, rendered in a bold, somewhat crude hammered style typical of princely state coinage. The upper line reads the Hijri date 1255, while the lower two lines read 'Sika Bhopal' (سیکا بوپال), denoting the issuing authority of the Bhopal state mint.
