| Obverse description | Highly stylized architectural or symbolic motif rendered in high relief, characteristic of the Chalukya coinage tradition. The upper register depicts a rectilinear temple-like structure or stepped platform with vertical striations, surmounted by a prominent central globule. The lower register presents two arched forms flanking a central element, each arch adorned with multiple raised globules arranged in a decorative pattern. The overall composition is deeply struck in the bold, schematic style typical of South Indian hammered gold pagodas of the 11th century. |

| Reverse description | Depiction of a rampant lion or mythological feline creature rendered in a highly stylized, flowing manner in high relief, consistent with the Chalukya royal emblem. The body of the beast is composed of sinuous, curvilinear forms occupying the majority of the field, with the head and limbs suggested through bold, schematic strokes. A small circular medallion or royal symbol, containing what appears to be a Kannada legend or dynastic emblem, is visible in the upper left field. The execution is characteristic of the vigorous but impressionistic hammered die work of Western Chalukya gold coinage. |
