| Reverse description | The crowned Royal Arms of Tonga displayed in the central field, featuring a quartered shield bearing three stars, a crown, a dove, and crossed swords, supported on either side by two Tongan national flags bearing the cross of Christianity on staffs. A laurel wreath surmounts the shield, above which rests the royal crown. A scrolled ribbon banner below the shield bears the motto MO TONGA KO HOKU, with the subsidiary inscriptions KOFOTU to the left and TOFIA to the right. The legend PA'ANGA curves along the upper periphery and TONGA along the lower, all within a beaded border. |
