| Obverse description | The obverse displays the full coat of arms of the Kingdom of Tonga rendered in high relief at the centre of the field, featuring a quartered shield with a cross, three stars, and a dove, supported by two lions rampant and surmounted by a royal crown flanked by crossed flags.
