| Reverse description | The reverse bears a fully inscribed dedicatory legend arranged in six lines across the field within an ornate laurel wreath, reading PAULI REINERJ PRINC. MUNUS ANNO III 1781, recording this osella as the ceremonial gift of Doge Paolo Renier in the third year of his reign, 1781. A small mint mark appears at the base of the wreath. The wreath is tied at the bottom and features detailed leaf engraving consistent with Venetian mint craftsmanship of the late eighteenth century. |
