| Obverse description | Standing allegorical female figure, identified as Abundance or Fortune, facing slightly left and occupying the center of the field; she holds a cornucopia overflowing with fruits and flowers in her left arm and a bouquet in her raised right hand. At her feet to the right rests the Lion of Saint Mark, a recumbent leonine figure with a prominent mane, serving as a symbol of Venetian sovereignty. The legend BONORVM AVCTRIX (Increaser of Good Things) arcs across the upper field, and the engraver's initials B · C appear in the exergue below the ground line. |
