| 裏面の説明 | A five-line dedicatory inscription in Roman capitals, reading LUDOVICI / MANIN / PRINCIPIS / MUNUS·AN.VIII / 1796, elegantly centered within a finely engraved closed laurel wreath tied at the base with a small ornamental device. The wreath is rendered in high relief with carefully detailed leaves, and the coin's milled border frames the composition. The reverse records this osella as the gift (munus) of Doge Lodovico Manin in the eighth year of his reign. |
