She holds a cross in her raised left hand and a serpent in her right hand, emblematic of salvation in both spiritual and temporal domains. The encircling legend IN UTRAQUE SALUS is rendered in Latin capitals along the periphery. The composition exemplifies the baroque allegorical idiom characteristic of late Venetian Republic oselle, with formal, symmetrical arrangement and richly detailed drapery. |

| Descrizione del rovescio | Five-line Latin inscription centered in the field reads LUDOVICI / MANIN / PRINCIPIS / MUNUS AN·VI / 1794, recording the gift (munus) of Doge Lodovico Manin in the sixth year of his reign. Below the inscription appears the die-sinker's mark D:B, attributing the engraving. The entire design is framed by a decorative border of elongated oval pellets alternating with a beaded inner rim, a distinctive feature of Venetian oselle of the late eighteenth century. |
