| Beschrijving voorzijde | St. Mark, patron saint of Venice, is depicted seated to the left, extending a staff adorned with a cross and pennant toward the kneeling Doge Giovanni Corner II at right, who receives the symbol of his ducal authority in a gesture of investiture.
