| Obverse description | Central field depicts a lamb passant to the right, rendered in a crude medieval style characteristic of hammered billon coinage; the animal is shown with its body in profile and head turned forward. The lamb, a traditional symbol of Christian piety and civic identity, occupies the majority of the flan.
