Obverse description Square klippe flan with clipped corners, enclosed within a beaded inner border. The central device comprises the royal cypher of Gustav II Adolf: the letters G and R flanking a central crowned shield, surmounted by the letter A above two additional crowns arranged symmetrically, forming a tri-crown motif alluding to the Three Crowns of Sweden. The date 1626 appears in the lower field, separated by pellet stops. The overall composition is bold and deeply struck in the characteristic hammered style of early Swedish copper coinage.
