| Reverse description | Central field depicts the crowned Swedish lion passant, rendered in the heraldic style typical of the Vasa dynasty, holding a sword and orb, within a beaded inner circle. Two diagonal lines or crossed swords appear flanking the lion, consistent with Swedish royal arms conventions of the period. The outer legend reads * MONETA * NOVA * in the upper arc and * 1 · ÖRE * in the lower arc, separated by star stops, all in Latin script. The flan is irregular, as characteristic of hammered production, and the strike shows moderate relief with some weakness at the edges. |
