| Obverse description | Central field features the interlaced royal cipher of Gustaf V — the crowned monogram 'GV' rendered in ornate calligraphic style with elaborate scrollwork flourishes to either side. Above the monogram sits a detailed Swedish royal crown with arched bands and cross finial. The date is divided by the monogram, with the first two digits to the left and the last two to the right. The circular legend reads 'MED FOLKET FÖR FOSTERLANDET' (With the People for the Motherland), running around the upper and lower periphery of the coin. |
