The shield is rendered in a bold, slightly irregular hammered style characteristic of late sixteenth-century Low Countries coinage. A circular legend in Latin capital letters runs around the periphery, separated by cross stops, within a beaded border. |

The arms are presented in the characteristic shaded-shield style with internal hatching to denote heraldic tinctures.
