| Beschrijving keerzijde | Three heraldic shields arranged in a triangular grouping — two in the upper row and one below — surmounted by a crown, depicting the arms associated with Gronsveld, Batenburg, and Rimburg. The upper-left shield displays a rampant lion, the upper-right an eagle or similar charge, and the lower shield a rampant lion passant, all rendered in the crude hammered style typical of minor seigneurial issues of the Spanish Netherlands period. A Latin legend, continuing from the obverse, encircles the design along the periphery, partially off-flan. The overall composition reflects the multi-territorial claims of John II of Bronckhorst-Batenburg as lord of Gronsveld. |
