| Obverse description | Central quartered coat of arms surmounted by a crown, with the arms of Batenburg occupying the first and fourth quarters and the arms of Bronckhorst in the second and third quarters. At the centre of the shield, an inescutcheon divided per pale, displaying the arms of Gronsfeld on the dexter side and the rose of Eberstein on the sinister side. The armorial composition is rendered in the heraldic style typical of early seventeenth-century Low Countries coinage. A peripheral Latin legend runs along the coin's outer edge. |

| Obverse lettering | LI BARO IN BATT ET RIM (Translation: Free barony of Batenburg and Rimburg) |
| Reverse description | The reverse field displays the initials E and B, standing for Eberstein and Batenburg respectively, flanking a long upright cross, with the letter G for Gronsfeld positioned below the cross. The design is sparse and typographically bold, consistent with the small-denomination copper coinage of the Lordship of Gronsveld during the reign of Jobst Maximilian. A peripheral Latin legend encircles the composition, identifying the issuing lord by name and title. |
