Obverse description The national arms of Mexico are depicted in a stylized, simplified rendering without the customary surrounding legend. The eagle, serpent, and cactus motif occupies the central field in a dual-finish treatment: all flat surfaces exhibit a brilliant Proof finish, while all raised design elements, lettering, and imagery are rendered in a contrasting Matte finish. A commemorative legend arcs around the design in place of the standard national inscription.
Obverse script Latin
Obverse lettering SALUD * PROSPERIDAD * ESPERANZA
(Translation: Health * Prosperity * Hope)
