正面描述	Central field bears the crowned Spanish coat of arms, depicting a quartered shield with castles and lions, surmounted by a royal crown. The shield is flanked on either side by a six-pointed star placed in the field. The circular legend around the periphery reads FERD · VII D · G · HISP · ET · IND · R ·, identifying Ferdinand VII as King of Spain and the Indies by the Grace of God. The design is rendered in low relief typical of early nineteenth-century Philippine colonial copper coinage.
