| Beschrijving keerzijde | The reverse presents a detailed depiction of the pre-Columbian archaeological site of Gran Pajatén, a 13th-century Chachapoya ceremonial complex located in the cloud forests of the San Martín region of Peru. The central field shows the stone masonry ruins of the circular structures and terraced platforms characteristic of the site, with a stylized vertical band to the right incorporating a small anthropomorphic figure in relief, echoing the decorative friezes found at Gran Pajatén. The denomination numeral 1 appears prominently to the left of center, with the text NUEVO SOL below. The inscriptions GRAN PAJATÉN and S. XIII d.
