| Additional information |
Issued as part of the BCR's long-running "Riqueza y Orgullo del Perú" commemorative series, which by the mid-2000s had become the mint's primary vehicle for silver collector issues. Club de Regatas Lima, founded in 1875, is Peru's oldest and most prestigious rowing and aquatic sports club, established by a consortium of Lima's merchant elite during the early export boom years of the guano era's aftermath.
Mintage figures for individual issues in this series were tightly controlled, rarely exceeding 3,000 pieces.
