Aanvullende informatie

The Noble series, issued for the Isle of Man, was introduced in 1983 as one of the first bullion coins to feature a Viking longship reverse — predating Britannia's modern bullion run and positioning the Isle of Man as an early player in the investment coin market. Pobjoy Mint, based in Surrey, has struck Isle of Man coinage under long-term licence since the 1970s, maintaining production independent of the Royal Mint.

The Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Elizabeth II, adopted across Commonwealth coinage from 1998, appears here in its fourth and final generation before the subsequent Jody Clark portrait replaced it from 2015.
