| Beschrijving keerzijde | An elaborately floriated cross occupies the full field, with a lis terminating each arm and trefoils filling the angles between. A large Gothic letter E is placed at the centre of the cross. The legend employs treaty-period lettering with saltire and double saltire stops throughout, and is drawn from the Vulgate account of the miracle at Nazareth. The reverse composition is consistent with the standard noble type of Edward III's Post-Treaty coinage struck at the London mint. |
