Reverse description A large floriated cross with fleurs-de-lis at each terminal occupies the entire reverse field, with a large uncial letter Є placed at the centre. The quarters formed by the cross are each filled with a crown and lion passant arrangement in the typical noble style. The legend, separated by saltire and double saltire stops, bears the so-called treaty lettering characteristic of this Post-Treaty period issue. The inscription is drawn from the Gospel of Luke and is rendered in Gothic uncial script.
