| Reverse description | A floriated cross of elaborate Gothic design occupies the full field, its arms terminating in fleurs-de-lis; the letter E with a pellet is placed at the center. The four quadrants formed by the cross are each filled with alternating crowned lions passant guardant and fleurs-de-lis arranged symmetrically. Pellets flank the upper and lower lis terminals, serving as decorative stops. The entire composition is enclosed within a double tressure of twelve arcs. The reverse peripheral legend, in uncial Latin, carries the well-known scriptural passage from Luke 4:30. |
