| 表面の説明 | The obverse features a naturalistic depiction of a fruiting apple tree branch bearing rounded fruit and leaves, positioned in the left and lower portion of the field. To the upper right, the large numeral '1' is prominently displayed, below which the denomination appears in Hebrew ('שקל חדש') and Latin ('NEW SHEQEL'). The State of Israel emblem — a menorah flanked by olive branches — appears in a small cartouche to the right. A curved trilingual legend arcs around the periphery reading 'ISRAEL', 'إسرائيل', and 'ישראל', while a further Hebrew biblical quotation from Song of Songs 2:3 and its English translation curve along the left and lower rim. |

Part of Israel's long-running Wildlife series, the Hart coin was issued under the Bank of Israel's commemorative program that drew on animals mentioned in biblical texts — the deer (ayal) appears repeatedly in Hebrew scripture, from Psalms to Song of Songs. The series itself began in the late 1980s and built a dedicated collector base both domestically and among diaspora communities in North America and Europe.
KM#243 was struck at the Israel Government Coins and Medals Corporation facility in Jerusalem, which handled virtually all Israeli commemorative output during this period.
