| Obverse description | The obverse features the State Emblem of Israel — the menorah flanked by olive branches — centrally placed above the face value '1 New Sheqel' rendered in Hebrew and English. The legend 'ISRAEL' appears in English, Hebrew (ישראל), and Arabic (إسرائيل) distributed around the field.
