Reverse description The reverse depicts a richly detailed scene commemorating the ancient city of Jericho. To the left, the stone ruins of a monumental ancient structure with classical columns and an arched entrance are rendered in high relief, evoking archaeological remains associated with the site. At center, the State emblem — a seven-branched menorah — appears above an ancient Hebrew inscription in the field. To the lower right, a cluster of date palms, the traditional symbol of Jericho, rises from a stone-paved terrace. The bilingual legend 'יריחו / JERICHO' is inscribed in Hebrew and Latin along the upper border.
