Obverse description Central device features a stylized lily (shoshana) rendered in high relief, its elongated stem and swept petals dominating the field. To the lower left, the Hebrew numeral aleph-shin-nun (denoting the value) is displayed in bold relief, while the State of Israel emblem — a menorah flanked by olive branches within a shield — appears in the upper right field. A small Star of David mint mark is positioned to the lower right of the central device. The piedfort format gives the design exceptional depth and sharpness.
