To the left, the bearded figure of Abraham stands with arms outstretched in a gesture of greeting and hospitality. In the upper center, three robed and cloaked figures bearing staffs are shown arriving together, their faces partially obscured by their garments. To the right, a smaller kneeling figure, presumably Sarah or a servant, bows in deference. The composition is rendered in high relief against a mirror-polished field, giving the scene a dramatic chiaroscuro quality consistent with contemporary Israeli commemorative coin artistry. |
