Obverse description The central field bears a three-line Persian/Urdu legend in Nastaliq script, naming Queen Victoria, arranged within horizontal ruled lines dividing the field into registers. The regal name and the regnal year in Eastern Arabic numerals are prominently displayed in bold raised lettering. The entire central inscription is enclosed within a decorative wreath border of stylised leaves and buds, characteristic of Jaipur Nazarana coinage, encircling the full perimeter of the flan.
