Reverse description The reverse presents a similarly epigraphic design in the Mughal tradition, with bold Arabic script arranged in two principal registers across the field, enclosed within double-line borders with scrolling foliate terminals. The upper register bears the mint name Najibabad, while the lower register records the regnal year in Abjad or numerical notation, accompanied by decorative pellet ornaments in the field. A floral or foliate motif appears at the lower margin, consistent with Mughal hammered gold coinage conventions. The entire composition, devoid of figural imagery, conveys authority solely through the calligraphic proclamation of mint and date.
