Obverse description Central field depicts a rearing horse facing left, its forelegs raised, with a prominent trishul (trident) rising vertically behind it — a symbol closely associated with the Hindu deity Shiva and royal authority in Tripura. Small foliate or star-shaped ornaments are scattered in the field to either side of the horse. The Saka date numerals appear in Devanagari script in the lower field beneath the horse. The entire design is enclosed within a decorative border of alternating beaded and crescent motifs, typical of Tripura gold coinage of this period.
