| Obverse description | Central cartouche in Nasta'liq script bearing the kalima (Islamic declaration of faith) arranged in multiple lines across the field. Floral rosette ornaments appear to the left and lower right of the central inscription. The regnal year is inscribed in Arabic numerals within the upper portion of the cartouche. A secondary inscription band surrounds the central device, with additional legends filling the field in the characteristic Mughal hammered style. |
