| Reverse description | Central field bearing a multi-line Persian legend in Nasta'liq script within a lobed or scalloped cartouche, recording the mint name Dar al-Mu'minin Kashan and the regnal year 1171 AH. Small decorative floral or pellet ornaments appear at the cardinal points of the cartouche. The surrounding field is plain and slightly convex, bounded by a fine pellet border consistent with the obverse, typical of Karim Khan Zand hammered gold coinage. |
