Obverse description Inscribed field bearing multiple horizontal registers of Arabic script in bold, flowing Nasta'liq calligraphy, typical of Durrani-era Mughal-style coinage. The central register prominently displays the regnal name and titles of Ahmad Shah Durrani, flanked above and below by additional lines of legend. The date appears within the lower registers in Arabic numerals. The overall layout is characteristic of hammered gold mohurs of the Farrukhabad mint, with legends extending nearly to the irregular flan edge.
