| Reverse description | The reverse presents a densely composed Persian calligraphic legend in Naskh script, similarly arranged in horizontal registers separated by incuse linear rules. The upper portion of the field contains the continuation of the royal invocation and the mint name, while the central band bears additional titulature. The lower segment displays supplementary dating or mint formula elements in Eastern Arabic numerals. The overall style is characteristic of the Farrukhabad Nawabi hammered gold coinage of the mid-eighteenth century, with bold, deeply impressed strokes filling the rounded flan to its edges. |
