Reverse description The reverse displays a central circular medallion containing Devanagari inscriptions arranged in horizontal registers, invoking Gorakshanath and Bhavani, flanked by decorative dot ornaments. This central circle is set within a stylized eight-petalled lotus, each petal containing a syllable from the royal legend naming Maharajadhiraj Shri Tribhuvan Bir Bikram Shah Dev. The entire composition is contained within a beaded outer border, consistent with the traditional yantra-style coinage of the Shah dynasty of Nepal.
