| Obverse description | Central square tablet divided into quadrants by a cruciform arrangement, bearing the royal name and Vikrama Samvat regnal date in Devanagari legend. A stylised floral or solar rosette occupies the central circle at the intersection of the cross. The square frame is enclosed within ornamental scrollwork and foliate devices, with an outer beaded border running along the coin's periphery. The overall design follows the traditional Nepalese tantric yantra format characteristic of Shah dynasty coinage. |
