The entire design is enclosed within a beaded or dotted border following the coin's circumference. The composition reflects the deep religious syncretism of the Malla-period Nepalese coinage, combining Shaivite and tantric iconographic traditions. The flan shows the characteristic irregular edge of a hammered silver issue.
