| Obverse description | Central circular field bearing a multi-line Devanagari inscription arranged in four quadrants, divided by a cruciform design element. The central medallion is enclosed within a raised circular border and surrounded by an ornate annular band of stylized floral and scroll motifs in the traditional Newar decorative manner, with small pellets interspersed between the foliate elements. The outermost border consists of a continuous row of raised beads running along the entire circumference of the coin. |
