| Beschrijving voorzijde | The obverse field is entirely occupied by a multi-line Arabic legend in bold nasta'liq script, filling the flan to the inner border. The inscription records the full royal titulature of Shah Muhammad Khudabanda, son of Tahmasp, including the epithets al-Sultan al-Hadi and Abu al-Muzaffar, along with the mint name Qazwin and the AH date 993. A plain rope or serrated border encircles the legend at the periphery of the irregularly shaped hammered flan. |
