The character 香 (Hong) appears above, 港 (Kong) to the right, 一 (One) to the upper right, and 文 (Mil/Wen) to the left, with 港 rendered below, reading collectively as Hong Kong One Mil. The bold, deeply incised brushstroke-style characters are rendered in a vigorous hand consistent with mid-19th century British interpretation of Chinese script, all contained within a plain raised rim. |
