| Obverse description | Central field features a finely rendered spray of grain or rice stalks in high relief, with budding heads and broad leaves rendered in naturalistic detail. Encircling the central motif, eight Chinese characters arranged around the inner field read the full date inscription of the Republic of China, Year 25. The entire design is framed by a bold geometric border of continuous Greek key (meander) pattern, characteristic of Chinese decorative art, running along the full circumference of the coin. |
