| 正面描述 | Central field dominated by a stylized standing figure, likely a royal or divine effigy rendered in the conventional South Asian hammered tradition, with strongly raised relief. Above the figure, a crescent or symbolic device is visible at the upper register. Flanking the central motif, Sinhala script legends appear on the left field, while a column of pellets or decorative globules occupies the right field. The coin exhibits the characteristic irregular flan and bold, somewhat crude relief typical of medieval Sri Lankan copper coinage of the Polonnaruwa period. |

| 背面描述 | The reverse is entirely occupied by a multi-line royal legend in Sinhala script, densely filling the field in three to four horizontal registers. The inscription reads 'Sri mat Sahassa Malla', identifying the issuing monarch Sahassa Malla (reigned 1200–1202). The lettering is boldly struck in high relief, characteristic of the hammered copper coinage of the Polonnaruwa kingdom. A beaded border encircles the entire reverse field. The overall execution is consistent with the epigraphic mass coinage of late Polonnaruwa rulers. |
