Reverse description The reverse presents a similar arrangement of archaic Sinhalese script characters distributed across the coin's surface in a style consistent with the obverse. The inscription again renders the royal name and title 'Sri Parakramabahu' in multiple horizontal registers. The hammered flan exhibits an irregular outline with flat relief typical of medieval Kotte Kingdom copper coinage. The surface displays natural verdigris patination and minor die-shift characteristic of hand-struck issues of the fifteenth century.
