| Obverse description | Standing royal figure depicted in indigenous Sinhalese artistic style, rendered in high relief against an unadorned field. The figure holds a flower in one hand, with a conch shell or similar regalia discernible at the lower left. Flanking symbols appear at either side of the central effigy, consistent with traditional Lankan royal iconography. The design is enclosed within a beaded border running along the coin's periphery. The overall execution reflects the characteristic bold, stylized casting technique of medieval Polonnaruwa coinage. |
